What is K2?
K2, also known as synthetic cannabinoids, encompasses a collection of artificially produced psychoactive chemicals crafted to replicate the effects of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main active compound in marijuana. These synthetic compounds are commonly sprayed onto plant material and marketed as herbal smoking blends or incense. Often referred to as “fake weed” or “Spice,” K2 is conveniently packaged in small, colorful sachets, facilitating widespread accessibility.
A major concern with K2 lies in its unpredictable and potentially harmful impact on the human body. The diverse chemical composition of synthetic cannabinoids can result in varied reactions, ranging from an elevated heart rate and hallucinations to paranoia and, in extreme cases, life-threatening incidents. Given its synthetic nature, K2 presents challenges for law enforcement and health authorities, with manufacturers frequently modifying its formulation to circumvent legal restrictions.
The use of K2 has been linked to numerous health issues, including kidney damage, seizures, and psychiatric symptoms. As regulatory agencies strive to navigate the ever-changing landscape of synthetic drugs, promoting awareness and education about the risks associated with K2 remains essential in preventing its use and safeguarding public health.

Test Instructions:
- Remove the drug test from its sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible. For best results, perform the assay within an hour.
- After that, hold the strip by the end, where you can see the product name. So, to avoid contamination, do not touch the strip membrane.
- Then, holding the strip vertically, dip the test strip in the urine specimen for at least 10-15 seconds. Do not immerse above the maximum line (MAX) on the test strip. That’s about 1/5th of the way up the strip.
- After the drug test has finished, then remove the strip from the specimen and place it on a non-absorbent flat surface. Start the timer and wait for the colored band(s) to appear. Finally, read the result at 5 minutes. Do not interpret it after 10 minutes.
Evaluating Your Test Results
Positive Test Result: Only one colored band appears, in the control region ©. No apparent colored band appears in the test region (T)
Negative Test Result: Two colored bands appear on the membrane. One brand appears in the control regions © and another band appears in the test region (T).
Invalid Test Result: The control band fails to appear. Results from any test which has not produced a control band at the specified read time must be discarded. Please review the procedure and repeat with a new test. If the problems persist, discontinue using the kit immediately and contact your local distributor.
