Multi-Drug Screening Test Cup 16-Panel:
16 Multi Panel drug test cup with Fentanyl , Etg and Tramadol is our quality urine screening tool that will detect the presence of 16 drugs in one evaluation. This configuration of the strips is ideal for clinical consideration, confirmation testing, substance abuse cases, juvenile detention centers, and more. These tests also serve as suitable home urine drug test kits for those who need them for family or friends.
Detecting the Presence of Fentanyl: Included in the 16 Multi Panel drug test cup is a test strip used to detect the synthetic opioid, Fentanyl. Having a fentanyl strip as one of the drug panel options is commonly requested today due to the rising concern about fentanyl abuse in the community. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that gained notoriety as one of the leading culprits in the opioid epidemic in the United States.
As one of many illicit drugs available on the streets, it is often cut with other drugs like heroin, increasing the likelihood of drug overdoses and possible death to users. The risk of overdose has never been higher as only 2 milligrams of fentanyl can prove lethal to the user. The overdose crisis is a very real threat in the United States and illicit fentanyl is one of the drugs most responsible for many opioid overdose deaths. Purchasing a fentanyl drug test is becoming a more common practice for those who are responsible for overseeing drug testing.
Most of the abused fentanyl in the USA today comes from the illicit drug supply that is sold on the streets. Pharmaceutical fentanyl, however, is still widely used in the healthcare field, with success, as it is often prescribed for severe pain. Because fentanyl is extremely potent (approximately 50-100 times stronger than morphine) it can be addictive, however, most of the fentanyl-related overdose deaths that occur in the united states occur from illicit fentanyl use.
Test Instructions:
To understand more about the drug test instructions, please follow the guidelines below for our 16 Multi Panel drug test cup.
It is important that the test administrator collects all of the necessary tools for the screening process before obtaining the urine sample. This may include a stopwatch, eye protection, a face mask, a pen, and paper.
- Make sure that the specimen is at room temperature (59-78 degrees F) before use. Remove the cup from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
- Have the donor date and initial the body label. (if applicable)
- The donor provides a urine specimen in the testing cup and closes the cap tightly. This is when the administrator may begin using their stopwatch.
- The operator checks the cap for tightness to ensure that it is sealed properly.
- Remove the peel-off label.
- Check the temperature strip label 2-4 minutes after specimen collection for the fresh urine specimen. Green will appear above the number indicating the temperature of the urine specimen. The proper range for an unadulterated specimen is 90-100 degrees F (32-38 degrees C).
- Drug test results are indicated by the presence or absence of colored band(s) in the result area of the test strips. The result should be read at 5 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 8 minutes.
- If necessary, positive test results may be confirmed by another drug testing method. The cup and urine specimen can be sent intact to a toxicology laboratory for confirmation.
Evaluating Your Test Results
Positive Test Result: Only one colored band appears, in the control region ©. No apparent colored band appears in the test region (T)
Negative Test Result: Two colored bands appear on the membrane. One brand appears in the control regions © and another band appears in the test region (T).
Invalid Test Result: The control band fails to appear. Results from any test which has not produced a control band at the specified read time must be discarded. Please review the procedure and repeat with a new test. If the problems persist, discontinue using the kit immediately and contact your local distributor
Detecting the Presence of Tramadol:
One of the drug panels included in Overdose Reduction’s 16 Multi Panel drug test cup is the panel that detects the presence of Tramadol in urine.
Tramadol is one of the more common prescription medications used as a pain reliever by medical practitioners today. It is an opioid analgesic that can have the potential to be abused if used for a prolonged period of time. Unfortunately, prolonged unsupervised use will lessen the effect of pain relief ultimately causing the individual to use more than the prescribed amount. Because of the potency and potential for abuse, many US drug test centers will screen for this particular drug and similar medications
Detecting the Presence of EtG:
Another benefit of the 16 Panel Multi-Drug Test is its inclusion of the EtG drug panel. EtG stands for ethyl-glucuronide, a byproduct of the ethanol produced when one consumes alcohol. This can be detected in 1-3 days, which is longer than a standard alcohol test. The longer duration in which EtG can be detected in this drug test would be beneficial for those overseeing rehabilitation urine screens, federal government screenings, religious institutions, and more.
Benefits of Using Multi-Drug Screening Cups:
Each drug test provides 99% accurate results and can be completed in under 10 minutes. These are one of the best drug test cups for institutions that are required to test large quantities of candidates in a short period of time. Multi-Drug screening cups are an effective way to screen fast and accurately. Multi-Panel cups have become some of the most popular devices used to detect the presence of fentanyl as well as other drugs in human urine. This is mainly due to the ease of use and simplicity of the test itself.
A single test can be completed in under 10 minutes, allowing the test facilitators to screen multiple personnel within a short period of time. This has been beneficial for law enforcement drug testing, rehabilitation centers treating substance use disorders, as well as medical laboratory research facilities. National rehabilitation facilities have benefited from the low cost of purchasing in bulk as well as the perk of free shipping.
